Vale architect Roger Pegrum

RRA’s newsletter went to print prior to notice that Roger Pegrum has died. One of Australia’s most notable architects, also a town planner, academic and writer, Roger received many awards including, for the design of his Reid house on Euree Street, the Medallion of the ACT Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects for its design and detailing and its response to the character and existing fabric of one of Canberra’s oldest suburbs. In 2013, this house was included in the book 100 Canberra Houses: A Century of Capital Architecture.
